PolyBak Veneers 10mil & 20mil Paperback

Jorma Winkler has been slicing Hawaiian Koa and other exotic Hawaiian hardwoods such as Mango, Ohia, Milo, Kamani, Toon, Bloodwood and Sugi (Japanese Cedar) since 2003. Through Jorma’s Japanese company, Maikai Wood Hawaii, located in Aichi prefecture Japan, we are able to supply raw veneers in large quantities for shipping worldwide.

We manufacture paperback veneers and stock a healthy supply of Hawaiian Koa, Mango, and Ohia in our warehouse in Kapolei, Hawaii. Special, custom layup orders are possible on various substrates, but generally paperback veneers are our specialty. They roll up and ship easily around the world. We use Richwood Industries' Polybak Paper Backing 10mil and 20mil pre-sanded paper made in the US. Our raw veneers are sliced to typical European and US thicknesses approximately 0.50 – 0.60 mm.

For fleece backed veneers, we use a special and super thin Japanese paper backing called "fleece" or "Washi" paper. We have been supplying a large number of fleece backed veneers for the watch, iPhone cover and cap industries.
